The Middle East has been and is today an area of challenges and excitement for scholars, politicians, businessmen, educators, and scientists in general. For this reason, Canyon College has instituted the Program of Middle Eastern Studies for all parties interested in the Middle East: Studies, business, economics, politics, petroleum, conflict, etc. The Program of Middle Eastern Studies at Canyon College is an academic interdisciplinary program consisting of courses in the History the Economy ; the Society and Culture ; the Economic and Social Geography of the region ; the Political Frame ; Education ; and Independent Studies
courses in selected areas. The Program of Middle Easter Studies provides sufficient information for those who are interested in business and commerce in the areas. However, it is basically and academic program.
