BU325 is designed to provide an introduction to the theoretical and practical aspects of human resource management (HRM) in contemporary organizations. This course examines the role of personnel/human resource management in organizations with emphases on selecting, developing, and compensating the organization’s human resource. Human Resource Management (HRM) consists of the policies, practices, and decisions that concern making effective and efficient use of the employees of an organization in order to achieve the organization’s objectives.
