Course Overview:
This course is designed to give the student a comprehensive view of Commercial Casualty Risk Management and Insurance. It will examine Liability Loss Exposures and Risk Control; Commercial General Liability insurance, Business Auto, Garage and Motor Carrier insurance, Workers’ Compensation insurance, Professional Liability insurance, Environmental insurance, Marine insurance, Aviation insurance and Excess and Umbrella Liability.

Week 3: Read Chapters 5 & 6 in text. Complete Matching Exercise
Week 4: Read Chapters 7 & 8 in text. Complete Matching Exercise

Week 5: Review and Mid-Term Exam: Multiple Choice covering Chapters 1 through 7.

Week 6: Read Chapters 9 & 10 in text. Complete Matching Exercise
Week 7: Read Chapters 11 & 12 in text. Complete Matching Exercise
Week 8: Read Chapters 13 & 14 in text. Complete Matching Exercise
Week 9: Read Chapters 15 in text. Complete Matching Exercise

All assignments must be submitted to the instructor no later that 5 PM (CST) on each Sunday of the week.

Grading: 20% of the grade will come from the weekly assignments and 80% from the Mid-term and Final exams, equally.
