Course Description:

In this course, the main focus is to teach the student the use of OpenGL and the top down approach. Computer graphics is concerned with all aspects of producing pictures or images using a computer. While this field is relatively youn, having started within the last forty years, it has grown quite rapidly. Included in this approach is the mathematical topics and scientific visualizations. Three dimensional concepts are the focused on in the beginning of the course, followed by Open GL programming and then interactive graphics. Due to the nature of this course, and the programming required, it is imperative that the student understand the requirements and stay as close to the syllabus time frame as possible.

The time frame for this course is eight (8) weeks.

Assignments and Writing
At the undergraduate level, students are expected to have an advanced writing style, Therefore, all written assignments must be typed on a computer in an organized format of your choice as long as it is appropriate for the information being presented. Because effective communication is a primary element of success in today's competitive business environment, spelling, grammar and punctuation will be strictly enforced and graded as part of the assignment. Exceptions will not be made.

The length of your writings is up to you as long as content is not sacrificed. Please stay within the maximum guidelines I have listed.

If you are caught utilizing material without proper reference or citation, you will receive an automatic failing grade for this course. All references must be cited as a footnote or endnote utilizing any acceptable style of your choice. If you have any questions in this area, please contact me.
