FINAL PAPER & PROJECT

Paper (20pts)
The topic of the final paper is on the data analysis, interpretation, and reporting strategies of quantitative research (consult pages 400-420 in the text for reference). The paper should be two to three (2-3) pages in length, 12 point font, double spaced. While the text should be consulted for your response, it is encouraged that it is personalized with your opinions from your experience in education. The following questions should be used a framework for your paper:
  1. What are the commonly used techniques in quantitative data analysis?
  2. What does the “Choice of Statistic” mean in relation to quantitative analysis?
  3. What are some interpretation issues for a quantitative study?
Project (20pts)
Please complete a sample small scale quantitative research project:
Review the literature on a topic of your choice to identify a research question. Go through the process outlined in this course from identifying a quantitative methodology paradigm, to selection of the sample, measurement tool, and collection of the data. Finally, look at how to analyze the data effectively and how the results may be used to benefit your profession or education as a whole. Please include feedback from your experience either in an outline or short reflection (No more than two pages).
