COURSE DESCRIPTION AND OVERVIEW

This course describes in detail what an effective inclusive classroom “looks like.” The course will provide the candidate with effective and reflective practices to help provide students with disabilities the opportunity to obtain a positive learning experience. The course will instruct the candidates to focus on the student’s strengths. It will also review how to deal with the variety of challenges that are presented as a result of diverse student populations.

COURSE COMMENTARY

Each candidate enrolled in this course has up to eight weeks to complete the assignments indicated below. However, a candidate may elect to accelerate his/her course of study and finish the assignments at an earlier time without permission from the instructor.
