Course Description:

Audio Conferencing is an interactive two-way audio connection that links individuals or groups together using regular phone lines and software such as Voice Chat available in the classroom. The instructor can be giving a lecture with the student/students as the student/students are reviewing the course material

• Introduce student’s concepts and techniques of effective Audio Conferencing usage.
• Develop basic level of learning and higher levels of critical thinking, problem solving, and cooperative learning integrating Audio Conferencing.
• Students will learn to identify the basic components and devices of Audio Conferencing.
• Demonstrate an ability to utilize or understand the integration of Audio-Conferencing in the workplace.
• Students will search on-line databases, read and discuss current issues related to the use of Audio Conferencing in the classroom.
