  3. There will be two exams: A midterm during Week #4 and a final during Week #8. The midterm covers chapters 1-9. The final is cumulative and covers chapters 1-17, with an emphasis on chapters 10-17. The midterm and the final are both open-book and consist of multiple-choice and true-false questions.
  4. Integrity: The college code of academic integrity will be rigorously enforced. Cheating of any type (submitting another's work as your own, for example) will no be tolerated and will result in an immediate withdrawal from the course.
  5. Practice Quizzes. There are four practice quizzes available for you to take online. These are optional but should provide a great tool in preparation for the midterm and the final.
  6. The chapters have been outlined in Power Point format to aid in your own reading and note taking. These slides are just an outline and are not meant to replace reading the text. Instead, their design is to facilitate and enhance your own reading and note taking.
  7. In addition to testing your knowledge with a midterm and a final, there will also be a research paper for this course. This is discussed in more detail below.
