The Chicano Studies Program at Canyon College is designed to fulfill the needs of social science students who are interested in studying the Chicano population in the United States. Through the selected course offerings in this program, Canyon College recognizes the social, political, educational, economic, racial, and cultural issues of the Chicanos and integrates them into a basic but strong undergraduate program for the benefit of those students who want to teach Chicano Studies, or work and interact with the Chicano population in the United States.
