Course Description:
A thorough basis for the successful arrangement and production of Jazz and Pop music. You will focus on techniques and concepts that are the foundation of composition and instrumentation. You will touch on current practices in the Jazz and Pop music scene, for instance; writing, scoring, bass construction, and Voicing. We will research the importance of understanding both arranging and composing in order to achieve a full understanding of Jazz arrangement.
