Course Description:

A survey of social contexts and psychological foundations in constructing and administering programs, applications, and listening situations. Managing the impacts in social and cultural situations where people perceive and react to music. Issues include: developmental concerns, gender preferences, listening environments, and music uses, such as in advertising. Basic and perceived problems of music education and use are covered.
