This course is designed to educate the student of
Natural Health by separating the facts of aging from
the myths. Startling findings from the frontiers of
anti-aging research have already demonstrated that
chronological age is actually irrelevant. According to
a multitude of anti-aging experts at highly esteemed
universities, science has discovered that our bodies
are genetically coded to live for 120 years,
disease-free. But this is under ideal living
conditions. More realistically, they are built to keep
us healthy and active until at least age 95. Once past
40, it is entirely possible for us to look, feel, and
function as well as the average person half our age.
Depending on our lifestyle habits, our diet and our
attitude, we can add or subtract years from our
functional age. The student will learn that much of
what we call aging in America is not due to
accumulating more birthdays, but to diseases and
dysfunctions caused by loss of skeletal muscle strength
and tone due to physical inactivity, and by eating too
much fat and meat and too few fruits, vegetables and
whole grains.
In addition to diet and exercise, with proper cognitive
training, memory training, visualization and mental
gymnastics, mindpower can be significantly enhanced.
For decades, psychologists believed that we lost
100,000 brain cells every day after age 35 and that
mental decline was a natural part of aging. Medical
science have long debunked that myth. Our brain cells
may shrink from lack of use as we grow older, but they
do not die off in large numbers. Neuroscientists and
clinical psychologists have proven that growing old
does not destroy the mind. Moreover, people who
continue to use their minds actively and creatively
throughout life actually become smarter as they grow
older-- and this can be true well into the ninth
decade of life. On the other hand, whenever we stop
using our minds actively and creatively, the brain’s
cognitive functions begin to atrophy; thereby
interfering with the ability to solve problems or to
make decisions.
This course will teach the student that there is no
magic pill, herb or hormone that will reverse aging
while you sit and watch TV or surf the Internet;
however, if you are willing to do what it takes to
succeed, it is quite possible to give yourself a
natural tummy tuck and a youthful figure. You can
regain almost all the mobility, health, fitness,
strength, flexibility, zest and aliveness that you had
when you were half your present age. You can
rejuvenate your memory, speed up your reflexes, enjoy
deep restful sleep, and develop a sharper and more
nimble mind. You can restore your legs, lungs, joints,
arteries and posture. You can naturally immunize
yourself against diseases such as cancer, heart
disease, diabetes, emphysema, osteoporosis and other
degenerative diseases associated with aging, and you
can enjoy a healthy and active sex drive.
The student will learn the effects of free radicals,
stress and bowel health as they pertain to aging. The
student will also learn about various alternative
medicine therapies for anti-aging. This course offers
proven natural techniques to help slow and even reverse
the aging process from both a physical and mental
standpoint.
Passing an open-book proficiency examination is
required. Each student will have up to 3 months to
complete the course.
I am very accessible and will communicate with each
student as deemed necessary throughout the course.
Please feel free to contact me via email at any time
with questions, concerns, feedback, etc. I look forward
to working with each student.
