Dr. Jack Lazarre has been a member of middle and upper management and consultant in the health care industry for over 25 years. His Doctorate degree is in Pharmacy from University of Southern California and his Master degrees are from University of Southern California, Liberal Arts and from California State University, Long Beach in Public Administration, with a health care emphasis. Besides being a member of the Canyon College Facility, he is a member of the faculty of the University of Phoenix, the University of La Verne, the University of the Pacific and the University of Southern California. He is author of numerous articles in the field of hospital pharmacy and hospital administration.

INTRODUCTION: NH720 - Pharmacology: This course will integrate advanced knowledge regarding the clinical application of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, techniques, and other approaches to problem solving about drug therapy for common acute and chronic diseases. Study will include appropriate information regarding the safe use of drugs, side effects, and drug interactions. Both current traditional therapies as well as alternative care therapies, including Vitamins, Minerals, Herbals and other Dietary Products will be discussed. In addition, a section of the course will examine psychopharmacology and drug addiction.
