Course Description:

This course introduces medical office administrative procedures. Topics include appointment processing, written and oral communications, medical records management, filing systems, maintaining the office environment, patient orientation, and safety. Upon completion, students should be able to perform basic administrative skills within the medical office.

Examinationa and Assignments

Homework will be turned in at the end of each unit. It should be typed, double-spaced, and in 12-point font (Arial or Tahoma or Verdena). Your homework will consist of the Review at the end of each chapter. Please put your name, chapter, and date at the top of each page.

The workbook that accompanies your textbook do the exercises for each chapter. This is a study tool also.
