Course Objective:
Upon completion of this course, the student will have an understanding of how parent-infant attachment affects mental functioning throughout life; how and why neurobiology matters in facilitating healthy development of the mind in areas of attachment, memory, emotion, neuroscience, genetics, and psychopathology.


Method: Human Development will include:
  1. Reading assignments
  2. E-mail correspondence one-on-one with the instructor at least once during the eight week course
  3. Message board participation for group and individual questions and discussions
  4. Exams: Midterm and Final - each 50% of grade.
