Course Objective: Upon Completion of this course, the student will have an understanding of the use of behavioral methods with individual clients. This course will also introduce the student to advances concerning equivalence relationships and rule-governed behavior that may be applied when working with individual clients.

Course Purpose: This course will emphasize the collaborative nature of clinical practice with individuals. This course will present clear guidelines to help students identify key factors operating in particular cases and create appropriate interventions for clinical practice with individuals.

Method:
  1. Assigned reading assignments

  2. E-mail correspondence one on one with instructor at least once during the eight week course. Please submit the following information to the instructor as soon as possible: name, e-mail address, user name, course expectations, brief work experience, educational background and any special interests you may wish to share.

  3. Message board participation for individual and group discussions are available upon request.

  4. Class room (chat room) discussions are also possible if desired.

  5. Exams: Midterm and Final exam's are each worth 50% of the course grade.
