Instructions For Exam Access
Example Exam
NOTE: You may only access an exam once unless otherwise instructed by your instructor! Please view the example exam for
further clarification regarding multiple accesses.
All exams and quizzes have restricted access and requires authorization
from your instructor to allow you access to them. Advanced notice must
be given to the instructor as indicated below. It is highly recommended that
you view the example exam
to familiarize yourself with the online exam and quiz instructions and
formats before you test.
To avoid delay in access to an exam or quiz, you must contact your instructor
no-later-than three (3) working days in advance or as indicated by the
instructor i.e., scheduled days of contact. For those students wishing to
take their exam on a week-end, please ensure that you have contacted your
instructor and scheduled the exam in sufficient time to authorize access.
Since many of the instructors use the CC technical support staff to
authorize access to the exams and quizzes, please ensure that your
instructor has adequate time to notify our staff pursuant the hours and days
of operation listed below.
Canyon College Technical Support Hours:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (MST)
- Saturday, 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM (MST)
- E-mail Technical Support Staff
Once permission to access an exam or quiz has been granted, and after clicking the link within the class room to the
appropriate quiz or exam, you will be required to enter your user name and password. This is the same user name and
password issued to you at the time of enrollment via e-mail, and used to access the class room and other tools within
the class room. Once you have entered the user name and password, please click the "Submit" button. This will allow you
access to the exam.
NOTE: In the event that the answers to essay questions are lost when transmitted electronically, it is highly recommended
that you first create the answers to the essay questions in "Notepad" which you will usually find under "Accessories" on
your PC. After creating the answers in Notepad, you should "print" or "save" the answers from Notepad and then copy and
paste the answers into the corresponding question text boxes. By maintaining a printed or saved copy of the answers, and in
the event they are lost in the electronic transfer to the instructor, this will avoid a re-take of the exam.
