Course description:
In this eight week course you will learn how to balance subtle energy and help yourself and clients to feel better. You will be introduced to esoteric anatomy and physiology. Then you will learn pranic healing via the active pranic healing technique and the passive mandala. As well you will be introduced to group pranic healing and distant pranic healing. Attn: RYT Yoga Teachers--This course may be applied toward Yoga Alliance continuing education non-contact area 3 anatomy & physiology requirements. Suggested non-contact CEU =1.5. Credit course: 3 semester hours

Part I esoteric anatomy and physiology

Goals:
  1. The student will be able to define the subtle body structures.
  2. The student will be able to list the major anatomical and physiological characteristics of these structures.
  3. The student will be able to describe how various components of yoga, such as asanas and pranayama, affect these systems.
Part II subtle energy control

Goals:
  1. The student will be able to describe pranic healing theory base.
  2. The student will be able to perform pranic healing.
  3. The student will be able to describe group pranic healing exercises.
  4. The student will be able to create mandala as one passive form of pranic healing.
