1. Log into Student E-mail Account.
Students will have the same e-mail Username, 2. Click on “Mail” on left hand side. 2.1 Click on “Folders” at the top of the screen. 2.2 If the Folder “Trash” is not listed do 2.3: 2.3 Click on dropdown for “Choose Action” and select “Create Folder” enter “Trash” and press enter key. 3. Along the top center of the screen, click on “Options”. 4. Click on “Login Tasks” 5. Change dropdown “View or mailbox to display after login” and select “Inbox”. 6. Change number on “Number of old sent-mail folders to keep if deleting monthly” to: 36. 7. Remove checkmark for “Delete old linked attachments at beginning of month?” 8. Change number on “Number of months to keep old linked attachments if deleting monthly.” to: 36 9. Click on “Save Options”. 10. In the middle column, click on “Message Composition”. 11. Change dropdown “When saving sent-mail, should we save attachment data?” to “Always save attachments”. 12. Click on “Save Options”. 13. In the middle column, click on “Message Viewing”. 14. Remove checkmark for “Block images in HTML messages unless they are specifically requested?” 15. Change dropdown “Should large blocks of quoted text be shown or hidden by default? It can be toggled easily whichever you choose.” to “Shown”. 16. Click on “Save Options”. 17. In the middle column, click on “Deleting and Moving Messages”. 18. Add checkmark for “When deleting messages, move them to your Trash folder instead of marking them as deleted? 19. Change dropdown “Trash folder: to “Trash”. 20. Click on “Save Options”. 21. In the right column, click on “Mailbox and Folder Display Options”. 22. Change dropdown “Default sorting criteria:” to “Message Date”. 23. Change dropdown “Default sorting direction:” to “Descending”. 24. Change dropdown “Expand the entire folder tree by default in the folders view?” to “Remember last view”. 25. Click on “Save Options”. 26. Click on “Horde” on left hand side. 27. Click on “Options” in upper right. 28. In the right column, click on “Display Options”. 29. Change dropdown “What application should Horde display after login?” to “Mail”. 30. Click on “Save Options”. 31. Click on “Log out” on left hand side. |
