It is with great pleasure we are bringing you 32 new certificate programs with approvals by the National Board for Certified Counselors – NBCC – and the National Association of Alcoholism Drug Abuse Counselors – NAADAC. These counseling programs consist of 5 to 9 individual courses. The tuition for the "Dual Diagnosis" or "Counseling Families I" Certificate Program is only $320. Message from the President

First, I would like to thank you for your interest in Canyon College. Here at Canyon, we have a fresh and motivating approach to education. We believe every person should be offered the opportunity to achieve their goals, no matter their situation, aspiration, or definition of success.

As the President of Canyon College, I sincerely care about each student's individual success, as well as the well-being of our community. I strive each day to contribute to a community where we are open to communication, encouraging innovative distance pedagogy, where education is a continuing effort - no matter your age or ambitions.

The year 2011 continues to bring more transformation to Canyon College. This transformation brings the implementation of our mission statement: Canyon College offers the student an array of learning options that fits their individual needs for their future success. Much of our focus has shifted to fulfilling this mission statement and its supporting objectives.

I am looking forward to building upon this foundation of principles with a community of learners and a diverse faculty. We are working to assure this vision becomes a practice and integrated into our tradition of quality education at Canyon College.
