10/97 - Present Instructor for Health Insurance Billing and Coding Programs.
Provide instruction for courses in curriculum including Introduction to Health Insurance, ICD I & II, CPT, A&P I & II, Medical Terminology, Disease Processes, Medical Manager, and Advanced HIBC. Also assisting as "Acting Coordinator" at necessary times. This includes scheduling for students and Instructors, handling student problems, and basic coordination of the program courses, schedules, and details.
4/99 - 6/2000 Instructor and Coordinator for Medical Administrative Assistant/Unit Secretary Programs.
Teach all basics of billing/coding/receptionary/secretarial work for the medical field. Restructured and coordinated new curriculum and courses to include new additional subjects like Medical Terminology, Medisoft, Visionary, Collections, EMC/ERS and OnLine Basics as well as the addition of an Externship Program. Also, received approval as a site for National Testing for Billers and Coders for NHA Certification.
