Teaching Duties
While at the Luther Luckett Correctional Complex, I authored to course curriculum and teaching
objectives for the counselors. I also served as an instructor for the six week presentation of
the social skills module. Each class held approximately 25 inmates and lasted for 1 ˝ hours four
days per week.
While at the Kentucky State Reformatory, I authored and taught the basic drug education course
that was presented to a class size of approximately 35 inmates for 1 hour, two times per week.
Also served as a substitute teacher for other staff for vacations and sick time.
As a student at Morehead State University (1992-1994), served as a graduate teaching assistant
for 2 sections of introduction to psychology each semester, each containing at least 50, but
sometimes as many as 75 students in each section. Responsible for class preparation, lecture,
and testing of students. Under the supervision of Bradley Clough, Ph.D.

Investigating the relationships between inmates who have been convicted of kidnaping offenses,
the prevalence of psychopathy in this population, and the rate of institutional rule violations.
Project presently in the data collection process. Co-author: Scott Duncan, Psy.D.
Psychopathy and Antisocial Personality Disorder prevalence rates for pre-trial inmates who are
accused of bank robbery charges. Project presently being prepared for submission to journal.
