MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Officer of one of the most prominent pharmaceutical repackaging companies in the country.
As a Director of Pharmacy for four acute care hospitals, developed at each, one of the finest,
yet cost effective Pharmacy programs in the Southern California area.
Developed a Home Health Pharmacy Program for two large medical centers.
As Vice-President of an affiliate of a large religious health care system, helped develop a home
health program, including a home I.V. therapy component as well as a capitation program for the
medical services and pharmacy services component of a newly established Social HMO.
As Regional Administrator of multiple industrial/family practice medical facilities, for a
division of National Medical Enterprises, Inc., successfully directed the over-all regional
operations and helped establish this division as the leader in innovative occupational health
care in Southern California. Also, conceived and developed successful hand and orthopedic clinic
in the Commerce area of Southern California.
As a Hospital Administrator, effectively managed a 208 bed hospital in the Southern California
area, led the development of an effective physician recruitment program, medical intern program,
nursing, pharmacy and other para-professional hospital educational programs and set up new
employee health, dental and pension programs.
Assisted in course curriculum for the University of Phoenix, degree programs in Health Care
(Nursing, Health Care Administration), General Education, and Business Administration.
Author of many national journal articles, including cost effective pharmaceutical services,
successful new material management programs, a research project on the future of U.S. health
care.
