FedEx “Open IT” conference

The goal of the conference was to provide a forum for openly discussing and innovating new solutions for the Federal Express organization without any concerns for the issues of implementing a solution. Through group activities teams brainstormed.

• Invited to participate as an external professional that has knowledge of new and upcoming technologies in the web world.
• Provided a detailed presentation on Fourbit’s Fablet application
• Participated in a group brainstorming session in which a small presentation was required at the end of the day. The goal was to list what we believed the 2 major issues in the logistics company were and dream up unique solutions to the problems. This was followed by a detailed discussion where some of the ideas were then thought through including the practical issues. The best solutions were recommended to the organizations executive for consideration.
• The conference was such a success that they have scheduled to repeat it quarterly

Health Care Site: designed to bring together health care providers, doctors and patients.

Investment Banking Portal: a site for the bank’s top clients to track stocks, follow their portfolio and get up to the minute Reuters news as well as in-house analyst coverage.

• Populated HTML web pages with dynamic content using XML and XSL
• Documented the site’s functionality using graphical templates.
• Utilized IBM’s VisualAge development environment along with Macromedia’s JRun application server
