M.Ed. Middle Tennessee State University, Administration and Supervision, 1983
Completed +30 graduate semester hours in Education, 1999
Added an English as a Second Language endorsement, Tennessee State University, 1999

I am certified by the state of Tennessee in English Education, Administration and Supervision, and English as a Second Language.

Experience:

1979 to 1993
Taught high school English, Speech, and Journalism.

1993 to 1998
Taught middle school English and reading

For the past four years I have been teaching English as a Second Language.
For the past two years I have also been the ESL director for our county.
I am responsible for testing, curriculum development, and classroom teaching for the program as well as advising classroom teachers how to work with ESL students.
